Here you will find children developing skills in listening and expressing their thoughts and ideas. Circle time provides a time for children to listen and understand stories, poems, and songs. Finger plays and music allow children to express themselves. They learn to follow directions, communicate their feelings, and engage in topical conversations with both peer’s and adults. Children are given opportunities to demonstrate appropriate self-control, and an increasing awareness of their responsibility when interacting with others.
